Why am I running?
I am running for Oakland County Commissioner representing the 10th District because Pontiac is poised for an economic come back. As a proud UAW Skilled Trades Machine Repair Machinist, I also believe that my education and experience as an elected and appointed official on the local, state, and national level has positioned me to be an effective and efficient representative for the people of Pontiac. This coupled with my deep passion for my city as a long time community activist has given me the thrust to take Pontiac's vision to the next level with confidence.
My Goal And Vision
Joining neighboring communities, Pontiac will continue to contribute to initiatives such as SEMCOG, SmartZones, and Automation Alley. Pontiac Schools are poised to recover from its consent agreement and once again become a premier school district. These attributes make Pontiac a global community of the future.
My involvement with Oakland County's General Government, Public Service, and Finance Committees gave me a unique overview of Oakland County's economic comeback that is projected for positive economic growth during the next three years. I believe that I can be an effective conduit utilizing my vast municipal experience to the betterment of all. I know Pontiac is ready to become an active partner in this recovery!
